The last few years have seen several ambitious efforts to correct for a lack of inclusive sourcing in journalism, especially as it relates to gender. We’ll be bringing experts spearheading these initiatives for a frank discussion of what prompted their project, how they’ve fared and what work remains.

This session is designed for:

  • Leaders who would like to learn from best-practice inclusiveness initiatives
  • Newsrooms interested in improving their gender equity in sourcing
  • Anyone keen to see de rigueur sourcing fall by the wayside
