The Knight-Lenfest-Temple Newsroom Initiative, popularly known as “Table Stakes,” has fostered transformative change to a digital-first mindset in local legacy newsrooms. We’ll share results and impacts gained. We’ll also describe the seven core table stakes required to be in the today’s local news game — and the pathways a local news enterprise must take to transform and succeed.

This session is designed for:

  • Newsroom leaders interested in learning how to transform to a digital-first approach
  • Journalists working in and dedicated to the success of local news
  • Anyone who’s heard about Table Stakes and wants to learn about the program first-hand
