We kick off ONA15 with a candid conversation on the symbiosis — and tensions — between high tech giant Google and the media. Richard Gingras, head of news at Google, and the Tow Center’s Founding Director, Emily Bell, will discuss critical issues, including traffic and search referral, developing content and data tools for newsrooms — especially to enable speedy content on the mobile web — and restrictions on an open internet and privacy concerns overseas.
