When and where was this: ONA Career Day took place online on March 31, 2022
Who was this for: Job seekers as well as people curious about journalism graduate programs and fellowship opportunities. You did not have to be an ONA member to attend. This was open to anyone, anywhere, but some opportunities had restrictions for applying.
Who was there: Fellow opportunity seekers, job recruiters, fellowship directors, journalism graduate school leaders, primarily from U.S.-based institutions. ONA events attract professionals across the digital news landscape, including, but not limited to, audience and analytics professionals, news product, strategy and business executives and entrepreneurs.
What took place: Recruiter, fellowship/education program video chat rooms + “learn more” sessions | Scheduling of one-on-one interviews | Programming specific to professional development needs | Interactive networking
