Join ONA22 remotely

If you won’t be able to join ONA22 in person, our Virtual Conference pass offers a number of ways to join the learning and networking remotely. Virtual attendees will have access to livestreams and live chats of select sessions, a searchable directory of all in-person and virtual attendees and three-month access to audio and video archives. 

The passes are $250 for ONA members and $425 for non-members. Students can purchase a virtual pass for $100, regardless of membership.

Outstanding student journalism

The student journalism category of the Online Journalism Awards (#OJA22) honors excellent student work that uses digital storytelling and technologies to inform its audience across a breadth of topics or issues. This year’s finalists investigated U.S. oil and gas companies, indigenous and native communities, and issues of race and abuse. 

Winners in this category will be announced Thursday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. PDT (20:00 UTC), during the ONA22 conference. Get to know these outstanding finalists:
