Outstanding student journalism
The student journalism category of the Online Journalism Awards (#OJA22) honors excellent student work that uses digital storytelling and technologies to inform its audience across a breadth of topics or issues. This year’s finalists investigated U.S. oil and gas companies, indigenous and native communities, and issues of race and abuse.
Winners in this category will be announced Thursday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. PDT (20:00 UTC), during the ONA22 conference. Get to know these outstanding finalists:
