ONA Weekly #396: ONA Career Day Is March 31

By on February 2, 2022

Just in: ONA Career Day is March 31

Save the date Thursday, March 31 to join us for ONA Career Day — an all-virtual event. More than 200 people joined our career event to kickstart last year’s annual conference. We are excited to build on that experience with a standalone event earlier in the year dedicated to career development. Career Day will feature learning and networking sessions; drop-in office hours with recruiters, fellowship directors and graduate school leaders; one-on-one conversations and the opportunity to share your resume for critique.

We will announce more details in the coming weeks! Complete the Career Day interest form to receive a notification when registration opens. If you are a recruiter for journalism jobs, higher education or fellowship opportunities, contact Jessica Strelitz, jessica@journalists.org, to learn about ways to get involved.

Multiplatform journalism with Carola Solé

As news platforms and formats continuously evolve, there is an opportunity for journalists to adapt and be part of the change. Join the ONA Spain group for their next online event Feb. 16: Cómo reinventarse siendo periodista. The conversation will feature lessons and inspiration from multi-platform journalist and editor Carola Solé.
