Why apply for the 2021 Women’s Leadership Accelerator

If you’re a woman in digital journalism with leadership responsibilities, we hope you’ll apply for the Women’s Leadership Accelerator. Participants receive intensive training and mentorship for navigating challenges in their careers, and often describe the experience as life-changing. Here’s what a few of our alumnae had to say:

“I feel like I just learned that I’d been walking around a construction site with an empty tool belt. Thank you for opening up the world of tools that are available to me.” — Noelle Swan, Deputy Daily Editor, Christian Science Monitor

“The program is a transformative experience that offers both professional and personal fulfillment. We’re plugged into a much larger network of newsroom leaders who are eager to learn from each other and help others succeed. Participating in the program is one of the best things a digital journalist can do for herself.” Rubina Madan Fillion, Director of Audience, New York Times Opinion

The deadline to apply is Nov. 30. Learn more about the 2021 program and how your organization can support the Accelerator.
