Resources from the ONA Local Summit

Earlier this month, we gathered local journalism innovators and community builders for the ONA Local Summit in Detroit. The conversations and workshops covered topics such as entrepreneurship in local news, the role of the relationship builder in journalism and creating online communities. If you couldn’t make it in person, check out this folder of resources, presentations and Table Talk notes.

Survey on media futures

Future Today Institute has launched their annual global survey on the future of media and journalism. The survey aims to understand how — and how frequently — people working in the industry are thinking about the future. Results will be shared at ONA18 in September and made freely available for others to review and analyze. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and will close on July 30. Begin the survey.
