ONA14 registration opens April 14

Early-bird registration for the 2014 Online News Association Conference and Awards, Sept. 25-27 in Chicago, will open Monday, April 14. Make sure to register at our lowest rate — and remember that ONA members save over $100 on that rate.

Changes coming to ONA’s member center

ONA members, our member center will be offline later today for roughly 24 hours. You’ll notice a new log-in in the renovated ONA member center before ONA14 registration opens. Be on the look-out for an email soon about password updates.

Philadelphia-areas journalists, the Center for Public Interest Journalism is once again generously offering scholarships and $1,500 grants to offset lodging and per diem costs to ONA14. Apply by April 25.

American Press Institute seeking Fellow

API is accepting applications for a Summer Fellow who will be involved in Press Institute programs while also completing a specific fellowship project that would help news organizations solve problems they face. Applications are due April 21.

Jeremiah Patterson

Jeremiah was ONA's Digital Manager from 2012 to the fall of 2016 and was responsible for ONA's collection of websites, including journalists.org, conference websites, the membership center, awards platforms and more. Before joining ONA, he served as a web producer and content developer at The Wildlife Society, maintaining the organization’s website, email marketing and other online services. An Ohio native and media enthusiast, Jeremiah grew up with a deep interest in video production and graphic design. He now focuses in user experience and human-centered design.
