Do you have a side project/journalism dream that you’ve been mulling over but haven’t quite brought to life yet? Join us on June 8 for inspiring discussion with Food52 founder Amanda Hesser about turning dream projects into realities.
Hesser, the co-founder and CEO of Food52, who will be joining us via Skype all the way from Brooklyn, New York. She will be speaking about food, writing and entrepreneurship.
Hesser left a dream gig as a food editor at the New York Times in 2008 to start Food52, an online food community (and e-commerce website) that broke the mold on what a food website could be.
As always have free beer, soda, pizza and some dedicated time to let you get to know one another. Everyone is welcome from developers, reporters, students, educators, editors and all those in-between.
