ONADC: Newsweek

An ONA Local event, hosted by ONA DC

Newsweek Editor-in-Chief Jim Impoco invites members of the ONADC chapter to join him and his DC-based staff for Happy Hour cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. on June 16, at Solly’s Tavern, 1942 11th St NW (11th & U St.) in Washington.

We’ll be discussing the new Newsweek, relaunched with great fanfare at SXSW as well as the recent Somaly Mam cover story (“Somaly Mam: The Holy Saint (and Sinner) of Sex Trafficking“) that lead to the eponymous founder’s resignation last week, and the future of one of the world’s most iconic magazines.

You’ll be joined by the Newsweek team, including writers Pema Levy, Matthew Cooper & SpyTalk columnist Jeff Stein.

We look forward to seeing you!

— Tiffany, Matt, Jessica and Joey
