ONA St. Louis knows it’s been a crazy few months for everyone. That’s why we invite you to virtually join us on Thursday, May 7, for a mental health check-in and one-hour meditation and gentle yoga session led by Southtown Yoga’s owner Candace Glass.
What You Can Expect
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom. The link can be found below. We will give our members about 30 minutes to chat and see how everyone is doing while working from home and covering their first pandemic. Then at 6:00 p.m., Candace will lead us in a one-hour yoga and meditation class.
Never done yoga? Not to worry! This class will be for all levels (beginners included) and will focus on meditative exercises and deep stretching. Wear comfortable clothing and get ready to relax!
After the class, attendees are more than encouraged to stick around and chat with each other.
We’d like to extend a big thank you to Democracy Fund for their generous support of this ONA Local event.
For those who have never attended an Online News Association event before, we are part of the world’s largest association of digital journalists. Our mission is to inspire innovation and excellence among journalists to better serve the public.
You do not have to be a member to attend one of our meetups. We do ask that you RSVP though.
If you are looking to help us organize one of our monthly events, take on a leadership role with ONA St. Louis, sponsor the group, or ask any questions about the event, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
