Get a glimpse inside the workings of St. Louis’ newspaper of record with a newsroom tour hosted by ONA St. Louis.
In addition to seeing how the newsroom is set up and how digital operations work, we’ll hear from journalists at the Post-Dispatch about how they use Facebook Live. The newsroom’s Aisha Sultan, Ben Frederickson and Gary Hairlson will discuss the technical aspects of social video production as well as content considerations.
Are you working on a fun social video project? If so, we’d love to have you share a 3-5 minute lightning chat ahead of the presentation. Send an email to Kelly at kmarie.moffitt@gmail.com
As always, we’ll have free soda, pizza and a little time to get to know one another during the meetup. Product people, developers, storytellers, reporters, students, educators, web staffers, and editors are all welcome.
Please RSVP if you can come so we can get numbers for pizza + information on who will enter the building over the course of the night.
