Here’s a followup on our Jan. 18 meetup — that’s next Wednesday! We’ll start gathering at 6 p.m. at the Miami Herald in Doral, 3511 NW 91 Ave. We’ll have some snacks and some suds and then a discussion with the folks who do this work.
You’ll meet Jacqueline Charles, Caribbean correspondent for the Herald, Mimi Whitefield, who covers Cuba, Nancy San Martin, who has reported from various spots in Latin America, and Tim Padgett, former Time Magazine Latin America correspondent and now the Latam expert South Florida’s public radio station, WLRN.
