ONA SF: Dinner + Discussion: Economics of News

• What we’ll do
ONA Members are invited to a special dinner on Thursday 3/22 from 6-8pm, part of a new series of small-group events ONA will be organizing where selected attendees will be part of one-on-one discussions with experts in the industry. Our guest for this dinner will be Professor James Hamilton. Professor Hamilton directs the Stanford Journalism Program, and has authored multiple books on the economics of modern journalism. The theme of the dinner discussion will be the economics of modern news organizations. The dinner is limited to 10 attendees to foster an engaged, long-form exchange in an intimate setting. Attendees will receive complimentary dinner and drinks — there is no fee to attend, and attendees will be expected to supply a short introductory paragraph to be sent out prior to the dinner.
