With all the demands faced by modern journalists, how can they find the time to be active on social media?
In an effort to answer that question, ONA Sacramento has assembled a panel of four journalists and social media stars for a free discussion at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 in the Sacramento Bee’s third-floor conference room. The panelists will talk about how they got involved in social media, their social strategies and what they do to fit social into their day.
The panel includes:
• Sam Amick, USA Today (@sam_amick)
• Joe Davidson, the Sacramento Bee (@SacBee_JoeD)
• John Myers, KQED (@JohnMyers)
• Cristina Mendonsa, News10 (@CristinaNews10)
The moderator will be ONA Sacramento’s own Nate Miller (@journalistnate)
Our discussion will be followed by a mixer and snacks. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about ONA Sacramento and the great services we’re providing to local journalists.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
