Join local professional journalism organizations for a “Spirited” mixer!
Admission to the event includes your first cocktail made with local spirits at Wigle Whiskey in the Strip District. Mingle with journalists, media professionals and journalism students. Nonalcoholic options will be available.
Admission is $12 online, $15 at the door.

Participating organizations include Women’s Press Club of Pittsburgh, Press Club of Western Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Black Media Federation – PBMF, ONA Pittsburgh, SPJ Pittsburgh Professional Chapter – Society of Professional Journalists and Association of LGBTQ Journalists/NLGJA Pittsburgh.
Proceeds support journalism scholarships, including those from the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania, which annually awards two scholarships worth $7,500; the Women’s Press Club of Pittsburgh’s Gertrude Gordon Memorial Scholarship Fund, which gives awards every year worth about $2,000; and the Frank Bolden Urban Multimedia Workshop led and hosted by the Pittsburgh Black Media Federation.
