Jim Friedlich, executive director and CEO of the newly-formed Institute for Journalism in New Media, and Burt Herman, the institute’s director of innovation projects, will join us to talk about the work of the Philadelphia-based nonprofit. The institute’s mission to cultivate sustainable journalism business models extends beyond its subsidiary, the publisher of The Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com.
