ONAPDX is tagging along as the Hollywood Theatre holds its first Media Mingle. Let’s mingle with them at the Waypost on June 8. Here’s the info:
Our inaugural Media Mingle is scheduled for Monday, June 8th with Portland’s first Creative Laureate, Julie Keefe at The Waypost, 3120 N Williams Ave, Portland from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Julie Keefe is a professional documentary photographer who work has been featured in publications such as the Skanner, Oregonian, New York Times, The National, Washington Post, NW Examiner, Glamour. Julie will be speaking about the Hello Neighbor project she created in partnership with Caldera from 7pm – 7:30pm. We are fortunate to have her as our first Media Mingle presenter!
The Hollywood Theatre Education Programs’ Media Mingle is an ongoing series of informal get togethers featuring thought provoking presentations by compelling media artists. With these events we hope to spark collaboration, inspiration and further community amongst media arts educators, advocates and enthusiasts living and working in the Pacific Northwest.
