ONA New Orleans: Lightning Talks

An ONA Local event, hosted by ONA New Orleans

What are the digital stories you’ve worked on lately that make you most proud?

ONA Local is coming to New Orleans, and we want to celebrate by spotlighting the best digital storytelling innovations going on in the city right now with a Lightning Talks session. Come tell us about a data journalism project you’ve been working on, a new app or tool you’re developing to get information into the hands of residence, how your team rocked election coverage, or how you’ve been experimenting with a new platform. Tell us about a time you failed and what you learned from it. Tell us about how you’re engaging your audience in new ways. We want to hear it all – in 5 minutes or less.

Send us your lightning talk pitch by filling out this form by Thursday, November 10. Or just come for a drink, some snacks and to meet the awesome people making journalism go in New Orleans.

ONA Local is a global network hosting networking, idea-sharing and peer-to-peer learning events for local journalists, innovators, and technologists. We’re powered by volunteers, community experts and connectors at the local level, and we’d love to hear what you want to see from the group in New Orleans. Learn more on our FAQ.
