ONA LA: Walking Photo Tour of Downtown LA with Photojournalist Maya Sugarman

An ONA Local event, hosted by ONA LA

Go on a walking photo tour with award-winning local photojournalist Maya Sugarman and learn how to improve your visual content — the only equipment you’ll need to bring is your mobile phone with a functioning camera.

Make sure your phone is loaded with Twitter, and if you’d like to edit your photos, Snapseed. This session will focus on portrait photography.

Maya Sugarman, KPCC’s Photo/Video Journalist, produces visual content for the radio, website, and social media. Her work has been recognized by Editor & Publisher, the Online News Association, Society of Professional Journalists, National Newspaper Association, Associated Collegiate Press, and California College Media Association.
