ABOUT THE EXCELLENCE IN JOURNALISM CONFERENCE
Since 2011, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Radio Television Digital News Association have partnered to host an annual conference that provides journalists with the industry’s best training and networking opportunities. The conference was named the Excellence in Journalism (EIJ) conference in order to provide an opportunity for other organizations to partner with SPJ and RTDNA on the event. Following five successful Excellence in Journalism conferences, SPJ and RTDNA welcome the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) as an EIJ collaborator for the 2017 event in Anaheim.
EIJ conference attendees are the top professionals in journalism, including: newsroom decision makers, leaders, station managers, reporters, producers, content managers, editors, freelancers and educators — people who are looking to implement new technologies, software products and journalism best practices in their newsrooms as soon they return home from Anaheim.

TRANSPORTATION
Parking is available in the center’s 4-story parking garage. Two entrances are conveniently located off Katella Avenue and Disney Way. The first hour is complimentary and after the first hour (or any fraction thereof) it is $3.00/hour.

Bicycle racks are located on both ends of the property. On the Disney Way side, they are located on the Lower Level in the Transportation Center next to 24 Hour Fitness. On the Katella side, they are located in the parking structure on the Main Level (*1).
