Maybe you’ve heard of mindfulness meditation and aren’t quite sure what it is. Maybe you’ve tried it and liked it but haven’t found the time to do it again. Maybe you do it regularly and want to keep at it.
Whatever your level of interest, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and practice with guidance from Vox Science Editor and certified meditation teacher Eliza Barclay on Nov. 14 at 7 pm.
This hour-long class will include instruction, guided meditation, and discussion. We’ll also talk about how to get a regular practice going (or restarted) at home, if you’re so inclined. No special gear is needed. You’re welcome to bring a cushion from home, but it’s also perfectly fine to meditate in a chair (or even standing up).
