ONA Chicago: Workshop: Google tools to boost reporting

Learn how to boost reporting and data analysis by using simple Google tools. Journalist Mike Reilley from Journalists’ Toolbox will explain how to use charts, maps and visualizations on Google to dig deeper into stories and how using Google Trends, verifying photos with Google Image search and data scraping and mapping will deepen your reporting work.

Bring your laptop — this is a hands-on workshop!
