ONA Australia: Google’s Vint Cerf in Conversation with Toby Walsh

 An ONA Local event, hosted by ONA Australia

Vint Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist for Google, will be joined on stage by UNSW Scientia Professor Toby Walsh to discuss topics including the development and future of the internet, the Internet of Things and digital security. The event will be introduced by Professor Emma Johnston, Dean of Science at UNSW and President of Science and Technology Australia.

Vinton G. Cerf contributes to global policy development and the continued spread of the Internet. Widely known as one of the ‘Fathers of the Internet,’ Cerf is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet. He has served in executive positions at MCI, the Corporation for National Research Initiatives and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and on the faculty of Stanford University.
