Take the lead with ONA

We are seeking forward-thinking leaders to join ONA’s 2026-27 Board of Directors. Whether you plan to run for a seat yourself or take time to nominate a colleague, the election is an opportunity to help shape ONA’s leadership and do more with your membership.

To complete a nomination for yourself or a colleague, follow these steps: 

  1. Confirm you are an ONA member.
  2. Review the nominee criteria and responsibilities required of board members, and have an understanding of ONA’s mission.
  3. Ask another ONA member to nominate you using the nomination form.
  4. Complete the candidate form. 
Nine seats are open for the 2026-27 board term. Five of the nine seats will be filled through the election process, and four seats will be filled through appointments by the current board. ONA members active as of Sunday, Sept. 7, will be eligible to cast ballots in this year’s election.
