Two digital leaders appointed to the ONA Board of Directors
The ONA Board of Directors has confirmed the appointment of Angela Chao, Head of Global News and Director of Content for Healthline Media, and Andrew Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President of Streaming Video Services at Hearst Television, for the 2025-26 term of service.
These two leaders round out our board leadership with expertise in local news, audience growth and business strategies. Their guidance will be instrumental to ONA as we work to identify our next CEO/Executive Director and continue to refine our strategic focus in service of the journalism community. Black Box Diaries opens this Friday
In her powerful first-person documentary follow-up to her explosive memoir, Japanese journalist Shirori Itō courageously chronicles her investigation into her own sexual assault and subsequent struggle for justice in the face of Japan’s patriarchal, antiquated legal system. BLACK BOX DIARIES opens at Film Forum in New York City this Friday, Oct. 25. ONA is pleased to support the film as a presenting partner.
