The series—researched and written by data scientist, journalist and AI futurist Nikita Roy—recently featured news organizations like Hearst Newspapers, Netherlands-based Zamaneh Media and Germany’s public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk.

One more day to choose your ONA board members

ONA members, we need your votes! The election for the 2025-26 Board of Directors is closing tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 3, 11:59 p.m. PDT.

HOW TO VOTE

1. Review the candidate slate and get to know each leader’s vision for ONA and their motivation to join the board.
2. Log into the ONA member portal to find your unique election password. Your voting password was also sent to the email address associated with your ONA membership; look for a message from support@journalists.org.
3. Visit the ONA eBallot system and log in using your unique 2024 election password to access your ballot.
4. Once you submit your votes, reach out to at least one fellow ONA member to encourage them to vote.
