ONA members: The voting period to elect the 2025-26 Board of Directors closes Thursday, Oct. 3. A total of 10 candidates—four incumbents, six new nominees—are in the run. Leading up to ONA’s annual conference, we also announced recipients of three awards for individuals that are bestowed by special committees. Honorees included: Benét J. Wilson (Community Award), Sarah Alvarez and Candice Fortman (Impact Award) and Loay Ayyoub (James Foley Award for Conflict Reporting).
