Join Democracy Day 2024, get free ONA memberships
U.S. Democracy Day is partnering with ONA to drive new participation in this year’s nationwide collaboration. The next 25 newsrooms that sign up to participate in Democracy Day between now and Sept. 6 will receive two complimentary ONA memberships for journalists in their organization.
Participating in Democracy Day is easy: We ask that your news organization commit to producing at least one story or piece of content (but we encourage more!) from the Democracy Day content menu on or around Sept. 15, outside of a paywall if you have one. The content menu includes coverage ideas around elections, free speech, civic engagement, newsroom transparency and more. Sign up today to be part of Democracy Day 2024.
