There are so many types of tools out there that can help news teams deliver essential information, build loyal audiences and overall more effectively pursue the journalism mission.

We want to learn about the best ones you used this year — the ones you absolutely couldn’t without. In the spirit of “sharing is caring,” we set up a collaborative doc so others in the community can discover new tools to experiment with as well going into 2024. Take a few minutes now to share your favorites.

To help folks sort through the entries, we’ve suggested categories such as CMS, automation, digital security, visualization and analytics, to name a few. If you can’t decide which category to assign your tool, no pressure — just choose “Other.”
