ONA Weekly #486: Happening Today: Broadcast And Audience Engagement Meetup

By on November 8, 2023

Broadcast and audience engagement meetup today

Join us today, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. EST (UTC–5), for a lively virtual meetup with audience engagement professionals working in broadcast journalism. Tickets are $25 or free for ONA members.

What to expect: This is a participatory event. After a brief introduction, we will break into a series of small group discussions for networking and idea sharing. We will offer some guiding prompts to help surface ideas and resources. We encourage you to come prepared and energized to share something from your work

What you will take away: This event is part of a yearlong series we’ve designed to facilitate meaningful community among professionals in similar roles. Previous attendees have left with new connections with potential collaborators, mentors and colleagues. Some have also benefited from inspiration and potential solutions they could immediately apply to their work.

If your organization is interested in sponsoring future meetups, contact ONA Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer Jessica Strelitz at jessica@journalists.org.
