We need your help! For years and years, many of you have sent ONA staff members heartfelt messages about the positive change ONA has catalyzed for your work, career and teams. But we’ve never fully invested in a public channel for these testimonials. Let’s change that!

We’re looking for personal stories about your experience with ONA this year to include in our annual retrospective. Stories can be about a wide range of touchpoints — a resource in a newsletter that improved how you manage projects, an inspiring conversation with another ONA member, attending the annual conference, a fellowship program, a networking meetup or something else. Your contributions will help others better understand why and how to get involved in ONA. Share your story.

Community engagement lessons from Civio (en español)

The ONA Spain group is gathering online Wednesday, Oct. 25, to discuss ways to incorporate community management practices into news media production. The talk starts at 8 p.m. CEST (UTC+2). Hear from Civio’s Olalla Tuñas about her experience with reader engagement, inspiring examples and lessons from the day-to-day.
