Stand up for your work
With polarization, a global pandemic, social media upheaval and disinformation at the forefront for several years, there has been a sharp decline in trust in the media. While no one knows what is coming next, we do know that gaining and maintaining trust is vital for all journalists.
A series of short videos created by Trusting News for ONA20 Everywhere, explains how and why journalists should stand up for their work when it is discredited or questioned, and how doing so helps establish trust between journalists and their audiences.
While the series is positioned through the lens of political coverage, the concepts shared are evergreen and applicable to any area of reporting.
