From the archives: Award-winning student journalism

We are sharing resources from the ONA archives throughout 2019, as we celebrate 20 years of inspiring innovation and excellence in digital journalism.

Each year the Online Journalism Awards honors excellent digital journalism projects or packages produced by graduate, undergraduate or high school students. Recent finalist projects have included multimedia experiences reporting on water quality in the U.S., the rare Mexican gray wolfdebates over sports team names and Puerto Rico’s recovery after Hurricanes Maria and Irma.
