Noelle Swan is the Science & Nature editor at The Christian Science Monitor, where she oversees science, technology, and environment coverage for the Monitor Daily digital product and Monitor Weekly magazine. Previously at the Monitor, Noelle has worked on the national news desk, the family page, and the business desk, both as a reporter and an editor.
Prior to joining the Monitor, Noelle worked as a freelance reporter, covering a wide range of beats ranging from ecology and science education to homelessness and poverty. Noelle graduated cum laude from Harvard University, where she studied natural science, environmental management, and journalism. She is active in the local science writing community and sits on the steering committee for the New England Science Writers.
