Industry: AI / Machine Learning
Last edited March 11, 2022 empowers organizations to transform data into knowledge and insight through its deep understanding of complex language.

We started from a garage before it became a cliché. Today, we are a global, publicly traded company (EXAI:IM) committed to innovation and to providing customers and partners with concrete results and tangible business value.

We work with some of the largest organizations and government agencies throughout Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. Analysts, data scientists and computational linguists worldwide recognize the value of our patented artificial intelligence technology and its unique hybrid approach to NL, which combines symbolic human-like comprehension and machine learning as the highest performing, most pragmatic way to address even the most complex unstructured information management use cases.

Language is Hard for Machines

We have been led to believe that machine learning can solve any of our problems — and in some cases, it can. However, just because ML can do something, does not mean it is the ideal method. We see this all too often when it comes to natural language understanding and natural language processing.

While machine learning is capable of supporting selected language-intensive applications, it is limited from delivering optimal results. The common sense solution to this would be to find a technology that complements the existing AI framework with human knowledge, but far too often, common sense and finesse is tossed aside in favor of other brute force efforts
