Join us for a presentation from Google for Media’s new Denver Media Outreach Lead, Nicholas Whitaker. He will lead us through several levels of custom data mapping and tutor us on advanced search tips that journalists can use to find existing data sets.
Mr. Whitaker recently moved to the Denver area. His group is a branch of Google focusing on the journalism community by providing trainings, resources and support. He teaches a wide variety of topics and may be available to help you bring the lessons back into your newsroom or classroom.
