Nadine is the daughter of Lebanese immigrants; she was born in Canada and bounced around a lot before landing in illustrious Toledo, Ohio. She graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University in 2012 with degrees in journalism, global studies, and a minor in linguistics, and moved to Jordan shortly after on a Fulbright scholarship. She spent the year after her Fulbright as a photographer and videographer for the Iraq mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and freelancing for outlets like The Daily Beast and Al Jazeera. When she was selected for the Women’s Leadership Accelerator, Nadine was at The Atlantic working as curator and associate producer for video.
