Thanks to funding from the Knight Prototype fund, Hollaback! relaunched our app in New York City in August 2013, allowing users to report street harassment and bystander intervention to Hollaback!, and, if they choose, the New York City Council. In so doing, the City will be able to collect data and develop strategies to combat street harassment. That makes New York City the only large city in the world to proactively and systematically address street harassment.
