I recently graduated from Texas State University. I’m originally from Houston, Texas and I’m a huge sports fan. I studied Electronic Media with a concentration in sports and I hope to be a Sports Broadcaster for a major sports network. I worked for my university’s newspaper, The University Star as a Sports Reporter. Throughout my time at the Star, I produced sports journalism content from Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball and Softball. I learned a lot about journalism through the Star and I’m looking forward to gaining more experience and knowledge in broadcasting, production and all things digital media throughout this opportunity. I’m very excited about the opportunity to work with the Online Newsroom Association, I can’t wait to learn about the student newsroom and innovation lab. I love all things digital media and I’m looking forward to gaining more knowledge about the changes in the media.
