Shereen works with the news team to set objectives that serve our listeners and workflows that contribute to a supportive work environment. She facilitates communication between the newsroom and its funding and content partners and she provides editors, reporters, and audiences the resources they need to use KALW products successfully.
Starting in December, Shereen will be overseeing the newsroom in her capacity as editorial operations manager while Ben Trefny, KALW’s news director, steps into an interim executive director role for the station.
