Lainna is an audience development specialist with several years of experience working on the digital side of legacy news organizations. She is currently The New Yorker’s Associate Director of Audience Development, focusing on social media, search, and newsletter strategy. Before joining The New Yorker in early 2016, she led New York Magazine’s social media team, and worked in social media and community management at Newsweek, Forbes and Wired. She is also an occasional guest lecturer at the New School and Columbia University.
