Dhiya is the Sr. Strategist for Emerging Media at NowThis. She currently runs a team that creates content for Vine, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, Weibo, WeChat and any platform media Twitter is obsessing about. She combines her traditional journalism background with unique data skills to find patterns in user behavior even on social platforms that are not blessed with large data sets. Her dream is to grow this team and empower them to find ways to tell stories to everyone in every part of the globe, in the language they are most comfortable, in the format they enjoy. Dhiya came to NowThis after short, inspiring fellowships at The Guardian and Mashable. She moved from a traditional newspaper job in Chennai, India to New York City to study data and digital journalism at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

NowThis had the fortunate opportunity to interview the Vice President of the United States. In true NowThis form, it was a cross platform interview that ran across every major social channel NowThis operates. Dhiya worked with a team that created over 50 pieces of content across 10 platforms including 3 in China.
