Aubrey Rhoadarmer is originally from Longmont, CO, but has always aspired to live in a big city, which is what brought her to Seattle Pacific University.

Aubrey is in her senior year at SPU, double majoring in journalism and honors liberal arts with a minor in women’s studies.

The past three years she has worked for The Falcon student newspaper, first as a staff writer, then Perspectives Editor and Audience Engagement Editor.

Aubrey will be stepping into the role of Editor-in-Chief for the 2023-2024 school year. Additionally, she is the producer and co-host of The Falcon Morning Show, a weekly radio program that covers campus news, sports and pop culture.

Aside from The Falcon, Aubrey has interned at the Boulder Daily Camera in Boulder, CO and Girls’ Life magazine. She is also an avid writer outside of the newsroom, from poetry to nonfiction essays, and is currently editing her first full length novel.
