Timothy Fanning is the city/county government reporter for the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, where he reports on affordable housing, transportation, social services and how growth is impacting rural and low-income communities.
Timothy graduated from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and has had stints at the Tampa Bay Times and WUSF Public Radio. He was managing editor of his college newspaper. In his free time he befriends other people’s dogs, wishing one day soon he’ll have one of his own again.
