Michael McKisson an associate professor of practice at the UA School of Journalism. His work focuses on emerging trends in digital journalism. Before joining the school, he worked as a digital content producer at the Arizona Daily Star and ran his own successful news startup covering bicycling in Tucson.
He completed his Masters of Business Administration from Eller in 2013.
In addition to teaching, he is also a contributing photographer for the non-profit news startup AZ Luminaria. His latest project called #EveryStreetTuccson combines his passion bicycling and drone photography. He is riding his bike on all 2,400 miles of Tucson roads and documenting it through aerial images and street photography.
