Maureen is a Real-Time-Desk video producer for McClatchy, where she assists 30 newsrooms across the country, from North Carolina to California, with their daily video content.
She has worked at PBS, NPR and also as a local reporter for Montgomery Community Media in Maryland. Maureen has covered everything from the Boston Bombings to interviewing the Beach Boys’ Mike Love about transcendental meditation. She is passionate about local news and a true believer that the newspaper industry can be saved and brought into the digital age.
