Lydia Belanger has led editorial production at Fortune since 2019. In her role, she coordinates and tracks the online publication of special packages, magazine stories, and franchises, such as the Fortune 500. As the Fortune editorial team’s liaison to its product team, she troubleshoots CMS issues and relays information about repairs and launches. She also oversees the copy desk, and handles other aspects of newsroom operations such as: onboarding staff; hiring and mentoring interns and fellows; and maintaining the editorial calendar. Additionally, she travels to cover Fortune conferences, and she edits stories and lists, such as 40 Under 40. She was previously a digital producer and researcher at WIRED and an associate editor at Entrepreneur. Lydia grew up in Traverse City, Mich., and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and their two cats.
